Whülke: What happened to same-day registration?

On March 7 of this year, your readers learned of the harrowing tale of Lou Lou and Gemma Goss, the Aspenites who showed up to the polls at 5:15 p.m. on March 4 to register and cast their ballots. They did not end up getting to vote that day.

Where is the follow-up? Did they register and vote in this week’s run off? Did they set their alarms for the crack of dawn and arrive at City Hall as soon as the polls opened? Or did they stand firm on their principles and again wait until after 5 p.m. to test the system for bias against the procrastinator class?
