Matthews: Stuck in the past

I have carefully listened to Rachel Richards lecture us with countless facts and figures. What is totally missing are any new ideas. She is stuck in the past advocating for the Straight Shot ( Preferred Alternative). That proposal is 28 years old and based on data equally old. It is not at all a forward-looking concept. It does not even consider what we see on the horizon, i.e., the Lumberyard, a new airport transportation plan.

At this time of crossroads Aspen needs new leadership, thinkers not encumbered by old ideas and divisive in their “I know best attitude.” Katy Frisch stands out as the right person for this time. She is open minded, an analytic thinker and a consensus builder. I urge everyone to make the comparison and vote for Katy Frisch.
