Hess: Jan 20
On Jan. 20, Americans honored Dr. Martin Luther King who worked to bring equal rights to all Americans.
On the same day, Americans continued to mourn the loss of former President Jimmy Carter who worked to make life better for all Americans and many others around the world.
Also on Jan. 20, a presidential inauguration took in Washington, D.C. The person moving into the White House has no ability to tell the difference between right and wrong. He has pardoned all those convicted of attacking our Capitol and the people who were working there four years ago.
The top priority of the current president is to boost his “bottom line” and to do the same for his billionaire supporters.
