Judie Olson Jenkins, a vibrant spirit and beloved member of the Sun River – St. George, Utah and Aspen Colorado communities, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on March 17, 1941, Judie brought light, laughter, and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jonathan Jenkins; her brother, Jim Milkovich; and her cherished cousins Terry and Sharon Began, Al and Cheri Cappo, and Tom and Sharon Began. Judie leaves behind a wide circle of friends who became family over the years.
Judie’s adventurous soul led her to a remarkable 35-year career with the Aspen Skiing Company, where she combined her love for the mountains with her dedication to excellence and community. Her passions were as vast as the landscapes she explored — from skiing and fly fishing to boating, camping, biking, hiking, gardening, and playing pickleball. She embraced every moment with joy and an open heart.
Those who knew Judie will remember her spunky attitude, infectious smile, and the tenacious will to live life to its fullest. She fought like a champ, never losing her spark, and was always ready to share her love of life with others.
Celebrations of Judie’s life will be held in Aspen and Gunnison Colorado, and St George, Utah. Dates and details will be announced in the coming weeks. In lieu of donations or flowers to honor Judie, we encourage friends and family to spend time in nature, laugh often, and live boldly — just as she did.
