With Labor Day Weekend marking the end of another Roaring Fork Valley summer, attention is starting to turn to the upcoming ski season.

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are set to open Thursday, Nov. 28, and Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk Mountain are slated for a Saturday, Dec. 14, opening. Though the opening days are still months away, time is ticking to get the super early-season rates on ski passes.

Super early-season rates on the Premier Pass, Alpine passes, and Valley Pass are available until Sept. 13. Early pricing, which is slightly more expensive than current “super early” rates, will begin Sept. 13 and run until Nov. 29.

The Premier Pass costs $1,899 for Aspen Chamber and Resort Association members and $2,974 for non-chamber members until Sept 13. It provides unlimited skiing and riding across all four mountains with no blackout dates, a complimentary Ikon Base Pass, an uphill pass, exclusive discounts and benefits, and unlimited summer sightseeing access.

Premier passes cost $2,219 for seniors, $889 for children, teens, and college students, and $749 for premier silver passes (people who are 70 years or older).

The Premier Pass will cost $3,234 after Sept. 13 and $3,599 after Nov. 29.

The Alpine passes give passholders season-long access to all four mountains, allowing guests the flexibility to ride one or two days each week with no blackout dates. The Alpine One-Day Pass costs $1,199 for chamber members and $1,419 for non-chamber members. The Alpine Two-Day Pass costs $1,674 for chamber members and $2,079 for non-chamber members. Additional days can be added for 50% off the one-day in-resort ticket rate.

After Sept. 13, the Alpine One-Day Pass will cost $1,554 and the Alpine Two-Day Pass will cost $2,279. After Nov. 29, the one-day pass will cost $1,699 and the two-day will cost $2,449.

The Valley Pass, which is only available to Roaring Fork Valley residents with a Colorado driver’s license with an eligible address, costs $499. It offers seven days across all four mountains with no blackout dates. Additional days can be added for 30% off the one-day, in-resort ticket rate.

After Sept. 13, the Valley Pass will cost $554 and after Nov. 29 it will cost $624.

All passes increased in price from the 2023-24 ski season. The Valley Pass increased $30. The Alpine One-Day Pass for chamber members increased $80 and $95 for non-chamber members, and the Alpine Two-Day Pass increased $110 for chamber members and $135 for non-chamber members. Premier Passes increased $90 for chamber members and $195 for non-chamber members.

Guests can purchase their season passes online or at pickup boxes located at the bases of all four mountains with the early-season rates before Sept. 13.
