Solar-powered electric vehicle station replaced at Aspen Community School
One of the oldest, solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations for a Woody Creek-founded company was replaced at Aspen Community School on Monday.
The old system, installed in 2021 by Skyhook Solar, makes way for a newer system that can quadruple the solar capacity and electric storage. It can also charge two cars simultaneously, giving vehicles up to 50-mile charges from the station’s solar-generated energy in a day.
