After a little bit of fresh powder on Wednesday morning, the sun finally broke through the clouds later in the afternoon as skiers and snowboarders took to Aspen Mountain. A chilly wind still buffeted riders, but the bluebird skies helped make it bearable.
There is a month remaining in Ajax’s ski season, with closing day set for Sunday, April 20, which is also closing day for Snowmass.
Buttermilk will close out the season with Bacon Day on April 6, while Highlands and its famed closing day party are set for Sunday, April 13.
