Mountain Mayhem: Spring has sprung

Spring has sprung across the slopes. Now that daylight saving time is in full swing, lift operations have been extended for the season, and Sunset Skiing dates and Night Skiing have been recent highlights on the calendar.
Another signal to spring’s arrival was last Sunday’s Bonnie’s Bash, an annual event on Aspen Mountain hosted by a handful of friends with an open invitation to one and all. The community came together for this inclusive gathering with the grill going, dancing on the deck, and Hawaiian flair and vintage-wear as the theme.
Cheers to a few more weeks of spring skiing!

Independence Pass might see earliest season opening on record
Historically, the high-mountain route between Aspen and Twin Lakes tends to open around Memorial Day, with the previous record for the earliest opening set on May 11.
