Loveland Ski Area announced that it will open on Saturday, Nov. 7, for the 2026-2027 winter season with nearly 1,000 vertical feet of terrain.

The ski area will start spinning the Chet’s Dream lift around 10 a.m., allowing guests to access the Home Run, Catwalk and Mambo runs.

Loveland will also be offering rentals, private lessons and child care on opening day, along with live music performances in the afternoon.

“Opening Day is always special at Loveland, and this year, and every year, we owe it to our people,” said Rob Goodell, the senior vice president and chief operating officer of Loveland Ski Area, in a recent press release. “Our snowmakers and Mountain Operations team, along with every department that helped get us ready, worked day and night to make this happen.”

The ski area’s opening day lift tickets cost $60 in honor of Loveland’s 60 years of snowmaking.
