Eagle County Sheriff’s Office seeks information on major theft in El Jebel
The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office (SO) is investigating a major theft that occurred at a home in El Jebel between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6., according to a posting from the SO on Facebook on Oct. 10.
The culprits caused significant damage to the house located in the Sopris Village Residential Subdivision and stole a safe along with a substantial amount of personal property, according to the posting.
The SO does not have any images to share, according to the posting. However, the SO is asking those who reside in Sopris Village, own a Ring camera, noticed unusual vehicles in the neighborhood, or saw anything suspicious on Oct. 6 to call its office at 970-479-2201 to speak with an on-duty deputy.
As another option, the SO suggests those with information who wish to remain anonymous to contact the Eagle County Crime Stoppers by submitting a tip online at p3tips.com or sending a tip using the Free “P3 Tips” mobile app. If the tip leads to the arrest and indictment of any suspect involved, a cash reward is available from the Eagle County Crime Stoppers, according to the posting.
This is an ongoing investigation.
