Daily lift hours for Aspen, Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass to be extended Saturday

Austin Colbert/The Aspen Times
Spring skiing is upon us, and to usher in the longer days, Aspen Skiing Company will extend daily lift hours.
SkiCo announced on Thursday that the extended hours will go into effect on Saturday, March 1.
Special sunset skiing events are also slated at each mountain throughout March, as well as KickAspen Night Skiing at Aspen Mountain from March 21-22. These seasonal adjustments coincide with daylight saving time, which begins March 10, according to a news release.
Sunset skiing events will feature extended lift times beyond the daily operational hours. Additional services such as rental shop hours and on-mountain food service may vary by mountain. Sunset Skiing is currently scheduled for March 10 at Buttermilk, March 17 at Aspen Highlands, and tentatively March 28 at Aspen Mountain, and on a date to be announced for Snowmass.
All sunset skiing events are weather dependent and subject to change. Check AspenSnowmass.com for more information.
