Aspen High School Dance takes silver at national dance competition
Aspen High School Dance brought their own magic to Walt Disney World this past weekend.
Competing at the UDA National Dance Team Championships in Orlando, Florida, Aspen finished just .2 points shy of winning a national championship in the Varsity Intermediate Division II Pom. The competition marked their last of the 2024-’25 season.
“In December, the team, competing in a larger division for the first time, earned silver in the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) Spirit State Championships,” an Aspen School District news release states. “In 2023, the AHS Dance Team brought home the Gold — first-place trophy from the UDA competition in Orlando. The Skiers Dance Team also won the State Championship in 2021 and 2019.”
