Aspen Care to host Saturday fundraiser for therapeutic riding center
Event includes sample sale of designer hats at Casa Tua
Aspen Cares will be hosting a sample sale at Casa Tua on Saturday, March 30, featuring designer hats from Janessa Leoné hats as well as other designer items.
Casa Tua is located at 403 S. Galena St.
Aspen Cares has hosted a fashion show at the Belly Up for the past 10 years. For this sample show, they are partnering with WindWalkers, a Carbondale-based equine-assisted therapy center. At WindWalkers, individuals with physical, neurological, emotional, and behavioral disabilities are able to seek growth and development through horseback-riding sessions and other horse-based therapy experiences.
According to a press release, the sample sale will have drinks served alongside a DJ. A free drink is offered alongside every purchase at the event from 1-3 p.m., and visitors will have the opportunity to secure tickets to the WindWalkers upcoming Kentucky Derby celebration happening the first weekend of May.
